“My Octopus Teacher” is a nature film, a love story and an emotional ride that any animal lover should go on and weep over (or at least nap alongside). The movie was so relaxing.īut after a delightful power nap, I got into the story about a man who returned to the same spot underwater for more than 300 days in a row to check in with a magnificent octopus. ![]() When I first put on the documentary and witnessed the visuals of a magnificent kelp forest and the soothing sounds of Foster’s calm voice atop an orchestral score, however, I was lulled to sleep.
